My only criticism is that the screen should be bigger. It wouldn't stop me from buying one however.
It did fix the one problem I had with the ATS and that was its horrid gauge cluster. And the CT4BW (still hate the blackwing name) interior looks pretty good from this angle:

Cadillac haters couldn’t bear all of the great reviews for the CT4-V.
"Cadillac haters" are irrelevant for folks interested in CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing. They have no impact at all on the enjoyment that a driving enthusiast can experience in one of those cars.

What is a genuine concern, and something Scrambler mentioned in post #40, is GM's team of marketing and PR dweebs. Their incompetence and lack of tact nearly destroyed the reputation of the Cadillac brand over the past four decades, and the risk exists that GM will apply the axe soon to great products like CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-Blackwing.

No, they talked about perceived improvements. The TR6060 has had nothing improved in it from the 2020 ATS-V to 2021 CT4-V. Unless GM changed the shifter the units are exactly the same. They both use the same MG9 RPO code too.

Just seems odd when you have the same parts and one gets praise while the other doesnt.
I thought the same thing when I read the review, and wondered how much was perception or "reviewers license", but I thought it was conceivable the CT4-VBW could have a different or upgraded shifter connected to the TR-6060.

Because I don't ride around on my Schwinn only stopping to lick the Cadillac crest of every XT5 I see, I somehow become a Cadillac hater? Some products they put out are actually good...the BWs and the Escalade...others I trash as required...the XT#s....and anything with this new weak ass 2.0T. The V Series cars...I'm lukewarm on, they're okay...but I don't think they're the greatest thing since sliced bread that some make them out to be...Does that make me a hater?

Screen might be smaller than some of the massive displays out there, but the software is very easy to use vs. some of the other vehicles I've been in. For me, GM has figured out the right balance of physical buttons vs. what is accessible only via the screen. They also have a lot of redundancy between steering wheel controls, controls on the console and on the dash below the screen - seemed like overkill when looking at it, but now that I live with them I use all of the redundant controls and appreciate them.

One thought I had, more to do with human nature than anything. GM did a great job with the CT4, great to drive, interior is good, controls easy to use. The ATS, while they enjoyed driving it, had the frustrating CUE (if you didn't know how to use it) and the engine was a little rougher, transmission not as good - so the vehicle wasn't loved. Plus, in pricing and marketing it was positioned against the 3 Series which has a larger interior that made the ATS feel cramped

When you love something it is easier to overlook some of the shortcomings, the CT4 has the exact same size rear seat, yet not a peep about it. GM improved many of the ATS's shortcomings and correctly positioned it against the 2 Series.

In other words, perceptions. The CT4 is a much more pleasurable driving experience, putting reviewers in better moods and less likely to nit-pick small stuff.

Just a thought....

No, not at all. In my previous post, I did not mean to accuse anyone here on GM Inside Forums of being a "Cadillac hater". You certainly are not one. In fact, I haven't seen any such members on GM Inside Forums.

The point is that what "Cadillac haters" (wherever they are) can bear or not bear regarding CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing reviews should be of no concern.
