V6's across the board for me.

 

2.5L 4 cyl.

 

The good old workhorse, bugs-should-all-be-worked-out-by-now 3800 V6. Last one went to 160,000 and was going strong. Hope I can get that or more out of this one...

 

Both mine are V8s baby. LT1 and LS1.

The only 6 cylinder car (ehm, SUV) we own is the '96 Grand Cherokee that my dad and brother share which has an I6. (God knows how many miles it has. I think it's something like 150K)

I guess we're a Big 3 V8 family?

255 horsepower 3.5 liter V6. Power available at all speeds. Smooth as a shiny paint job. My parents both have 165 horsepower 2.5 liter I4s.
