From a chop I did in another thread the other day I got to thinking how the original GTS was a paint and trim level on the Monaro and could be had on the 186 I6 up to the 350 V8. The original HQ SS was really a painted stripes and 253 bare bones trim level too.
So given that VE sale have been down (excepting the Sportwagon), and given VE is looking a little old while awaiting VF, perhaps a cheap and cheery paint, wheels and decals upgrade to the SS and SV6 called SS-R and SV-R could boost sales.
This is what I have sent Richard Ferlazzo, Chief Designer, at GM Holden Design. Any thoughts, comments or criticisms, I mean witticisms, welcome......
