Nine pages for a crossover?
Nine freaking pages?
It's said that we humans can sense an impending earthquake, even if only subconsciously.
Is Saturn the next seismic shock to the automotive world?

The debut is April 11th...

They will be shown before the Autoshow.

This is even posted on the Saturn site:)
I can't tell if the saturn website is stating that you can get the photos on your cell phone April 11th Just before the auto show (which starts the next day) or if the new vehicles will debut on April 11th.

The wording isn't clear. I suspect that we will just get the photos to our cell phones tomorrow with the unveiling on the 12th.

Unless you know something from the inside that we don't know.

Wow! Not too shabby... Just a couple months ago who would have that a Saturn could have an interior like that? And it looks really long, but not out of proportion, so good job GM. Now we just have to see the Acadia.

Wow, the front end is very Relay-ish and I for one do NOT like it. It seems like the headlamps need to be about 6 or so inches lower (more car like). I also get this vague feeling it's a blend of many other cars, but cannot determine which ones (besides relay). I will reserve final judgement until I see it in person, which seems to be the problem recently. Newer designs just don't seem to photograph well.

Regardless, it should do well for Saturn. The 3/4 rear view looks very attractive and the interior appears to be of very high quality.

Waaay better than anything Saturn has, not has good as the Enclave.

ME WANT!

the interior detail is VERY impressive.
(backseats, closeouts, and tracks!!)
I dunno about that. If that material on the dash is GM's die-hard hard plastic, we will have a problem. It's like a disease I tell you. It is giving GM a bad reputation, but they just will not stop using the darn stuff!!!
They've tried to "texturize" the stuff now to make it seem different, but they are not fooling anybody. That is a sign that they are not trying hard enough to get away from the past.
But we will wait and see if this car has black plastic or not.

I know I've asked before, but I always forget: which of GM's current and future SUVs and crossovers are similar and which are different? Vue, Equinox, and Torrent are Theta. The Enclave and Acadia will be another platform, right? The Outlook will be similar to what? Will any of them share the Captiva platform? Are the Vitara or Grand Vitara tied-in at all? Are any of these vehicles Lambda, or is that still to come?

It looks great. Nice job, Saturn. I can't wait to drive one. These things will kick butt with the HF 3.6 liter, but will be amazing with the Ultimate V8 in a few years if those rumors prove true.

My only interior critique is that it's unfortunate that GM only does navigation systems within the stereo's footprint. That little cubby at the top of the center stack would have been a nice place to put the nav screen, and the driver would have not had to look as far away from the road to check the map.

My exterior critique is that the fender bulges remind me a little bit of the Mitsubishi Endeavor. It's a much more attractive and cohesive shape than the Endeavor's hodgepodge of lines and curves, though.
