Yeah, a car like this isn't built and immediately followed up by a new model. This isn't the L-series followed by the Aura.

 

i really dont find this shocking, i didnt really expect it to last long. not cuse of the price, but just because its such a special car. i have seen like 1 or 2 kinda close to my house. not a bad looking car, but i have 1 complaint about it:from the side, it kinda looks like a truck because the cokpit ends so suddenly

yeah, but if you've played NFS:MW long enough to unlock teh carrera GT, there's a bodykit with (imo) a corvette-styled front bumper, bigger side intakes and an extended roofline (a la fiero). looks SO hot.

WHY?

It was a limited run car. It was always intended to have a short shelf life. They weren't building for volume. They intended it to be a collector's car.

Used ones are already going for $440K, and prices continue to rise.

 

I knew it would have a short lifespan, like the Ford GT, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari F50, etc. Halo cars usually are short lived.

 

Yeah, that was short...oh wells, I'll just have to find something else to spend $400,000 on.

 

Do you think porsche will make a replacement?
