I like the red interior. Quite a while ago in a thread about interiors many pointed out that colour choices are lacking these days... so this is a nice break from monotony. A little more tasteful than the old Sunfire GT, too!
I just don't like the color of red... I think the bright red interior is a little too ricer for a luxury car. In BMWs they have a nice dark red and a burnt orange leather that look much more sophisticated. Of course, their's aren't inserts either... it's the whole seat.

I like the fact they're using stitched (apparently) leather coverings - as we see in the shift surround. That's the level of detail a Cadillac interior ought to contain.

With the interiors of so many cheap cars looking to nice (sat in a Cobalt yet?), it's this kind of hand work that is needed to differentiate a real luxury car.

More of it, guys!

That definately looks good!

Always been a fan of the STS though. They've taken that ultra-agressive look of the CTS and they've modified it just a bit to give it a touch of class and elegance. While I don't really like the CTS, they've really succeeded with the STS.

I am not sure why the red looks so bright in this pic, but I remember it being darker in the STS-V's I have seen and sat in.

I thought it was quite bright in person too... that's what I was saying about the darker red in BMWs looking more luxurious.

 I need to go find my thread. Maybe it's XLR-V with the African wood??
Both the XLR-V and STS-V have the Burled Olive Ash Wood, and it's quite nice in person. I myself wouldn't get the Red trim package (I like the stealthy look of the All-Black interior with the dark wood trim), but I do applaude Caddy for adding some color into the interior for those who like it.

I saw the red interior on a car at the '05 Chicago show. Frankly, the shade was not a good choice. It looked a little washed out.

And red's such an obvious choice. C'mon, guys: do something a little more sophisticated. How about, say, tobacco brown with navy inserts? Something really elegant. Something other than primary colors. Something other than the gray/black/snot color choices that you can get in a Cobalt . . . .

(And I just noticed Ford's way ahead in that game. On the new Explorer. The deluxe model is showing a very classy two tone job. Get with it, Cadillac!)

Looks good but the GM badge should line up with the other ones. IT least it is small so most people may not see it.

Nice idea. Note to GM designers: even if you can't come up with some nice colors... go to home depot and pickup a color guide in the paint section. There are brochures with elegant color schemes that look great together. Might be hard to beat tobacco brown with navy ... sounds nice!
