I take that as an indicator, they didn't slack on the luxury appointsments, heavier laminated glass, more sounding deadening etc. That interior looks just as good as the competition if not better in some aspects.
That's absurd. The thing is a good 1200 pounds overweight IMO. Which points to a distinct lack of engineering.

This thing is absurdly heavy. Doesn't this outweigh entry Bentley/Rolls sedans? Hopefully it drives like them otherwise, ouch. Plus what's that economy gonna look like?

That interior is quite nice, though. Looks competitive with European competitors that will surely be more expensive. Question is, what will the latest Lexus LS be like?

They aren't struggling to sell the Equus, which is 60K+ sedan from a non-luxury brand without even the image of, say, Ford.

This is right in line with what they wanted, 2-3,000 annually. http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/hyundai-equus-review-2011-hyundai-equus-first-drive. There's a bigger question mark for the G90. Any enhanced prestige will likely be compensated with a (small?) price increase. More importantly though, Cadillac and Lincoln will have much stronger competition.
Selling 250 a month is pretty bad IMO. Sugarcoat it any want you want.
