we do think this full-size up-to-eight-passenger vehicle is the closest any automaker has come to creating the ideal crossover. Here's why.
That is how it's done!

Yes, I agree. And "admirable interior material choices". Let 'em keep rolling on in. :yup: It's nice to see how well the stack is integrated without the nav; the interior still looks very good.

These were the people that the Outlook had to really impress. A good blessing from Edmunds means very good things to come.

Yeah, they seem to have a LOT of weight with the buying public. The New York Times had them listed as No.1, with GMI ringing it at No.5. :D

I used to think the Enclave would be my favorite lambda, but there is a simple, clean, utilitarian elegance to the Outlook that is just very compelling. Oh - and the wifey prefers the Outlook.

Hey, I just noticed those cupholders in the doors? How cool is that. Very innovative and nifty.
Cupholders in the doors are hardly innovative, as the Pilot has had them since its inception. What's innovative is the fact that this has projector HID headlamps, available 19" wheels, a power liftgate, navigation with voice recognition, LED gauges, LED ambient lighting, 8 seats, a 6-speed automatic, and more...and it's not even a luxury car! :D

wow another great review.. i really hope these reviews one after another adds up to sales for GM. and more great press especially in Consumer Reports and Motor Trend and Car and Driver where most people get their news. only time will tell.
Consumers Report is not writing nice things about all of GM cars. Their writing nasty things about the 2007 Corvettes and I for one know better like all the other owners do. I've been in the car business all my life and I know cars. The 2007 Corvette I own is absolute perfection --no magazines like Consumers Report is going to convince me differently.
I do admit they are reporting a little more truthful only after running down the American auto industry mercilessly for decades.

General Motors might be about a decade late with its V6-powered, SUV-silhouetted, unibody people hauler, but GM got it right. The full-size 2007 Saturn Outlook really is the world's first anti-SUV, anti-minivan utility vehicle, and it just might be the next big thing.
Wow, what a great review!

And there are still people doubting GM's future products? I can't believe the reviews we've been reading on the Outlook...some of the best of ANY product from ANY company. It also baffles me that the 3.6L is powering these beasts as well as they seem to, and still managed a 19 MPG with Edmunds. Excellent.

Can you imagine what reviews are going to say with the 2008 CTS? ;)

What Edmunds says about any GM vehicle is irrelavent. Edmunds is a propaganda arm of GM having sold its impartiality out for a marketing partnership with GM. Let's no longer consider what Edmunds says about any vehicle as meaningful. Shun Edmunds for having sold its soul to the devil.
