Chevy Cruze Two Door - Should One Be Offered - Coupe Or Hatchback?

That does look awesome, does any other automaker that the cruze goes up against have a vert?

I know Corolla only has a sedan form, Civic as coupe and sedan, and the Focus has Sedan, and a 5 door set for 2012 so if Chevy could do a vert i think lots of people would buy it if done right. Start with a coupe and if there is great feed back, design a vert and do what they did in the Camaro and stiifen up parts so it feels like the coupe version still. Hm, maybe chevy can be a step ahead of the competiton instead of behind? :D
VW has the New Beetle convertible for $27k and the Eos hardtop convertible for $33k.
Ford had a coupe-convertible version of the 2nd gen European Focus (the generation we didn't get), not sure what's in the works for the new Focus (there is no 3-door hatch version for now like they've offered in the past).

There are other competitors to the Cruze in Europe that have small convertible/coupe-convertible versions as well.

I'd like to see some sort of 2-door offered. A hatch would make sense as it would be an easier sell in the European market and there are a number of other 2-door hatches on sale here (Golf, Scion tC).

A 3-door Verano would probably be quicker/easier, though; at the least, the 5-door Cruze hatch might appeal to those wanting something a little sleeker than the Cruze sedan body.
