That is the C pillar, but yes, it is ugly. I’ve never bought into this “floating roof” look on ANY vehicle. The “shark’s fin” styling panel between the C and D pillars is ugly.
But it’s REALLY nice paint! 😜$47,795 for a Z71 AWD nothing on it but the Harvest Bronze paint.
That might be the way I would go, I PREFER having NEITHER the sunroof or Leather seats in any vehicle I get. There is a sleeper model of the Traverse, that is a real bargain in my opinion, if you can live without leather seats and the sunroof option.
How about a $ 43,980 Traverse LS AWD model with the Midnight Sport Edition Package and the Ride & Handling Package?

The order guide indicates that wireless Apple CarPlay is standard for all 2024 New Traverse trims:The new Travers does not have Apple CarPlay which is disappointing.
The FE4 Ride and Handling Suspension is available as a standalone option on LS and LT trims for $1,200.How about a $ 43,980 Traverse LS AWD model with the Midnight Sport Edition Package and the Ride & Handling Package?
Correct. From the order guide:Will the RS be the only trim to have ambient lighting?
Thank you for this info. When I built one it just showed googleThe order guide indicates that wireless Apple CarPlay is standard for all 2024 New Traverse trims:

I have received word from GM that there is an error in my build, and an error on the GM build platform. The FE4 Ride and Handling Suspension is indeed available as a standalone option on LS and LT trims for $1,200, but ONLY if ordered with the QZR/RUH 22" wheel package. This will drive the price of the example build up by a considerable amount. The FE4 Ride and Handling Suspension is available as a standalone option on LS and LT trims for $1,200.
If a friend or family member were interested in purchasing a 2024 New Traverse, I'd recommend the LS model as well but with the following modifications to your configuration:
MSRP according to the build and price tool on March 22, 2024 comes to $40,195, which is very reasonable.
- Eliminate AWD (unless you get the Z71 with the Advanced Twin-Clutch AWD System [RPO code G99], it's a waste of money)
- Eliminate Midnight Sport Edition Package (it does not include any performance goodies and the 20" wheels in that package are likely to degrade ride quality compared to the standard 18" wheels)
- Change exterior color to Lakeshore Blue Metallic

The full-size GM 20"ers have more than enough tire sidewall to maintain a very smooth ride. More at issue is the shocks, at least on the F/S pick-ups....the 20" wheels in that package are likely to degrade ride quality compared to the standard 18" wheels
