I'm rebuilding a 5.3 vortec engine but can't decide which heads to use.. i have a pair of 706 heads and a pair of 862... A friend of mine told me one of them had overheating problems but don't know which one it was..... since the heads are identical in everything , and both were used in 5.3's I'm confused, there's got to be a con with one of the heads since they are the same but with different casting numbers
Which ones should I use?..
