it was something I read in the past week. I did find this article, though it wasn't the article I'm thinking of: Honda and Acura all-electric SUVs confirmed with GM Ultium power

Basicly sounds like Honda will be using GM's Ultium battery platform and some other tech, but the actual structure of the vehicles will be unique to Honda and not shared with GM.

I had read something that GM isn't actually building the car, just supplying the batteries more or less. But I can't find it now.

I should've posted it on GMI when I saw it.
I seem to recall seeing or hearing something like that too, but like you am at a loss as to when and where, and besides it's been some time ago now I think.

Shame the Envision is made in China, the land of organ harvesting, genocide, the source of US opioids, and the corrupt CCP government.
Im presently shopping this segment for lease return at end of may..(alfa stelvio ti sport) which was fabulous over the past 3 years lease!

I categorically WILL NOT BUY A CCP CUV....not volvo and not buick Envision.

There has to be a limit to what I will accept with regards to covid sending ccp and the products I will not purchase.

CCP chinese vehicles is on my list to JUST SAY NO.

I think this lease time around it ll be lexus rx350 or acura RDX....

The volvo subvented lease deals are giveaways....and its a nice cuv but wont lease or buy ccp chinese prodict. Same for the pretty Envision.

YMMV

What about another Stelvio? Is that something you're considering in addition to RX and RDX?

Carwise you must be alot like me...I look at every turn to buy a car as a chance to get something completely different from what I previously had, partially the reason why I never stepped up to that Scat Pack I drool over.

I never understood how some people can be a "car guy" type person and can have a car and then buy pretty much or the exact same car as a replacement. Branch out try something new, you never know what you might find out that you like.

I thought the XT-4 was the Corsair's competition?

Did we forget about the XT-4?.....I know I almost did.
Nah...you didn't get the memo. Lincoln compares with Buick and Cadillac is too high up to even be mentioned in the same sentence as Lincoln. Think Maybach/RR/Pagani levels of detail.

Like I found, KBB picked the Corsair over the XT4 so take this "comparison" with a grain of salt.

SDotJeezy's recommendation to anyone considering anything in this class - Test drive them all: XT4, Corsair, RDX, Envision, NX, X2, GLB, Q3, XC40, QX50 whatever you can get your hands on to test out and make a truly educated decision. At the end of the day, Its your money and there is no check in the mail from Cadillac for picking the XT4 just because.
