The 2.0T does put out decent torque, but 190 hp is far below that of any other 2.0T on the market.
There are multiple versions of that engine with multiple power outputs. That is just the output for the 2.0T optimized for fuel efficiencey, not power. There are more powerful versions available. The version of the 2.0T in the S3 is around 300 Horsepower, and there are rumors the next High Power version of the 2.0T will be around 350 HP.

Wow, 350 hp would be very impressive!
And yes, the Europeans use so many differently powered versions of each engine. It offers so much more variety in fuel economy vs power. I often wonder how much it costs them to have all of these.
And it will be very interesting to see what power number the NA version will have.

The press release states 2 tunes for the 2.0T. a 252hp version and a 190hp version.
In the high-end version, the 2.0 TFSI delivers 185 kW (252 hp) and torque of 370 Nm (272.9 lb-ft) between 1,600 and 4,500 rpm. This allows sporty driving: The new A4 Sedan with quattro drive and seven-speed S tronic sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62.1 mph) in 5.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155.3 mph). The new A4 Avant has corresponding figures of 6.0 seconds and 250 km/h. The Sedan with front-wheel drive and S tronic consumes just 5.7 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers in the NEDC (41.3 US mpg) and emits 129 grams of CO2 per kilometer (207.6 grams per mile).

The second version of the 2.0 TFSI, the gasoline ultra model, delivers 140 kW (190 hp) and torque of 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) between 1,450 and 4,200 rpm. This also results in very agile performance: 7.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) and a top speed of 240 km/h (149.1 mph) for the Sedan; 7.5 seconds and 238 km/h (147.9 mph) for the Avant (both with S tronic). NEDC fuel consumption is excellent: The Sedan consumes 4.8 liters per 100 kilometers (49 US mpg) and the Avant 5.0 liters (47 US mpg), equivalent to 109 and 114 grams of CO2 per kilometer (175.4 and 183.5 grams per mile) respectively.

From the article:
Audi has published several live photos with the recently introduced 2016 Audi A4 Avant.

If you haven’t made up your mind whether the new Audi A4 with its sharpened up evolutionary design suits your style, Audi has dropped several pics with the more practical wagon painted in what appears to be Tango Red, one of the 15 hues offered for the B9 generation.

Do people really not grasp that concept? That boosted engines let you use the same engine in multiple applications?

I like the "laughing cow" steering wheel. It's different from the frog look that has been popular lately.
You'll have to explain that to me outside of just your attempt to be clever, because I don't get either...

It looks loads better. The interior has a neat industrial look to it. Sehr German.

Shifter looks like something I want to put my paws on.

Seriously? Did they even try? Is there anything different design wise from the current one and A3? I get it's supposed to be evolutionary and all, but seriously? It literally looks like they took an A3, blew it up by 125%, and then called it a day. And it looks far to close to the current one, which goes without saying, considering it's an Audi.

Not much has changed. C Class kills this. And honestly? So does ATS. Pass.

Doesn't matter though. Audi fanboys will be fapping to this for days, talking down to us, saying how we don't appreciate all the work that went into this "design".
All of that thought and attention to detail put into the interior of the new A4 is enough to receive my money. The ATS is a Cadillac so by default I love it but they look silly now!
