If the proper engine is used this car will be wicked. Im sure dealership ADM’s will be very high unfortunately.

Do we have any reason to believe GM is really going to produce this supposed Z/28 given actual production ends Jan 2024?

There was talk/rumors about a year or so back that there would be a Camaro with the Corvette LT2 engine (490hp) but I highly doubt we will see anything.
Maybe there'll be a sticker package???

A fitting end to the ICE Camaro.

I think a BEV Camaro will be in the future, or at least the equivalent of the Camaro.

I doubt it will happen to be honest. GM usually lets things rot until no one buys them and they wither away showing how much they really care about their customers or legacy of GM’s iconic names.

It would be cool though.

It would certainly be cool, but the Camaro team was disbanded and the Z28 cancelled long ago. They didn't do any research to write that article. There will be a limited edition Panther sticker package. That's it. Then the nameplate goes on hiatus until it resurfaces a soulless electric appliance after GM has the battery production and form factor they need for a low roof coupe.

Totally different class of vehicle, but I don't know how anyone can apply that statement to a class of vehicle that has the Hummer. That has lots of soul!

From the last info we had development had started but it was shelve. If this info is correct then previous info of it being shelved could be incorrect. Either way we were looking at limited production numbers and I’d bet production gets extended a little further into 2024.
That has as much sould a McDonald's McRib. 😁
I've never tried the McRib...

If the legendary Camaro was going out with a bang, they would have started “special models” way before now like Dodge did with the Challenger. ACTUAL special models and not decals/stickers with an up-charge.

Even if you’re not a Mopar fan you have to admit the way the Challenger is bowing out/being sent off is absolutely historic. Slowly trickling all those variants out slowly. They all are unique too in their own way.

The saddest part about all of this is I can guarantee you the Camaro team cares just as much about the Camaro as the Challenger team does about the Challenger. It’s someone up higher on the ladder that won’t let them go all out or throw money into a true farewell.

I assume they are made with a pork-like substance with genuine pork-like flavoring :ROFLMAO:

I was looking at Hershey's syrup bottle at the store the other day and actually read the bottle which proudly states "Genuine Chocolate FLAVOR". My guess is the actual cocoa content is pretty low to non-existent.

Ha! I should have chimed in being a Chef and all - It’s made up mostly of ground pork but there is some added fat to it that allows McDonald’s to shape it like a slab of ribs. Hence why everyone always asks why it looks like it has bones in it but it doesn’t. Not a fan. Actually not a fan of anything from McDonald’s except their fish sandwich occasionally.
