it actually would depend on the calibre, size and type of bullet whether or not it would go right through you. I for one wouldn't sacrifice my life, mainly because most world leaders are lying crooks, key word most, some are honest decent people

No, but not because I don't think the President (no matter who s/he is) is an honorable and important world leader. I just don't think it would be worth leaving my children without a father and my wife without a husband over the life of someone who, in a strong nation like ours, can be replaced.

I feel the same way about military service; while I consider it a noble and highly honorable sacrifice for someone to leave the comfort of his home and risk his life to defend his nation ("...or her" implied in all cases), I'm not willing to make that sacrifice at this point in my life.

If I were single, or if my sacrifice constituted the difference between success or failure, I might think differently.

nope. i'd not likely take a papercut for him. i WISH my countries leaders life meant more to me, but it doesn't mean any more to me than your average joe. which is to say i wouldn't take a bullet for your average joe.
