On the surface this seems like an odd question to ask a General Motors community, but you're not any General Motors community.

Both vehicles share several common characteristics, both debuted among the sound and fury of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, both are harbingers of the future for their respective brands and both are downright gorgeous.

The Benzo is a slick 18.5-foot-long salute to the sumptuous and the sublime. With its 80 kWh battery pack and four electric motors--one at each wheel--the massive Maybach will crunch 62-mile-an-hour in less than four seconds, on its way to a 155 mph top end.

As for the Escala, it's decidedly more production ready shall we say, in fact it's already riding on a stretched Omega platform. The Escala previews Cadillac's future approach to design, including a new look grill, logo, and headlamps. Motivation comes courtesy of a brand new 4.2L twin-turbo V8.

At this point it's your turn, which of these design studies from Monterey do you prefer?
