Who here thinks Buick grilles in black plastic look good?
The Velite concept, like other Buick concepts, makes nice use of Chrome. But when it comes down to the wire, Buick puts out cheap looking grilles, claiming that "blacked out" grilles look "upscale". The Park Avenue Ultra bucks this trend, and is the most popular vehicle on its lot --- its never there, always sold out.
Note the difference between the Lacrosse CONCEPT and the production vehicle:
Buick reminds me of the good looking woman who is too shy / demure to go out in public with diamonds and a nice dress, going instead with conservative clothes bought at Ann Taylor.
I say be proud of the Buick heritage and get more in-your-face chrome out there, like the Chrysler 300C.
