I have to see it in person.

I test drove a Challenger R/T this weekend. Great car. I love the look and it was terrific to drive.

The interior was well put together and nice enough, but, based on the pictures, I think the Camaro is going to be much nicer. The Challenger interior was kind of bland.

I'll probably decide between these two in February.

Well I sold my 2007 Silverado Extended Cab 2WD VortecMax.. So I am ordering a Black on Black 2SS withthe RS Package with the 6-Speed Manual with the Sunroof and the Polished Wheels (Which I am going to have powder coated black anyway) And I don't know about some of the SOPs that are coming out... I want to find out more info on the HUD and the back up sensors

Waiting for HUD/rear parking assist...

Which means I'll probably end up having to wait for the 2011 model year...word is that HUD won't be available until mid 2010...:(

Not me

;)

It looks sweet, but I refuse to be the "first". I let the ambitious guys/girls be the guinea pigs....plus there'll be that whole mark-up game. And lastly, like KSR mentioned, I couldn't bring myself to order a car I have never sat in or drove.

I agree with the "guinea pig" thing, but there are plenty, and I mean PLENTY, of dealers that are more than willing to sell at MSRP or less. We have a whole list over at Camaro5.com, in fact, I was quite pleased to find two dealers in my area on there.

And something tells me that even though I've never sat in or touched or even seen this car in real life...I'm going to love it. :)

I'll wait a few years before i get one. I don't have a job at the moment but whe n i do I'll probably end up choosing between

1. used 1st gen CTS (preferably one with a 3.6)

2. 05-06 Pontiac GTO

3. new camaro

4. any used BMW M3 or Z4 model

That's really good news! It's hard to have that Utopian medium where demand is good enough so GM does well.....but demand isn't so great that dealers can do the "right thing" and maintain MSRP.

What's your "short list" of possible next cars?

Mine is:

1. Camaro
2. Challenger
3. Solstice Coupe
4. 2010 Mustang

My 2nd tier is:

1. G8 ST - probably not, but it's kind of cool looking
2. G8 - probably not, but if I needed a sedan for some reason
3. CTS Coupe - don't know if I want to spend that much
4. used XLR - these things seem to hold their value. Haven't seen any good buys yet.

Mine is all over the place as far as car type and category:

- Cobalt SS Sedan
- Mailbu I4/6AT
- Infiniti G35 6MT sedan
- Altima hybrid
- Camaro will be worth a look to me

I am just waiting for my Camry to die! ;) But it might be a while :(
