I voted for the Pontiac Vibe. My dad says he won't buy me a GTO because I can't have a sports car.

I'm almost ten years old and I always talk to my dad, (coolcaddy), about what car I should get. I like Pontiacs, but I also really like the Saturn VUE. The deal is that if I go to college, he'll get me a GM car around $15,000.
maybe u can just get ur dads old oneOriginally posted by Canuck@Nov 10 2003, 11:51 PM
What about a used CTS?
Yup. Just to be clear, the conversations we have about which car he'll actually get are pretty much just for fun, precisely because of what you point out here; but the offer is legit--that is, I'll buy him a new GM car and pay for his gas, insurance, lodging, etc. if he goes to college. That's what my dad did for me... B)Originally posted by thehemi@Nov 10 2003, 11:02 AM
These cars might be history in 6 years.
Lots of new stuff coming out these days.
Hard to know what really is available at
the moment, let alone in a year or two.
I was actually thinking of adding that to the poll but I thought I was already pushing it with the GTO. :bounce:Originally posted by Canuck@Nov 10 2003, 11:51 PM

Hey, you might got something there, Ghranky. When he's old enough to get his new car, I can say, "here ya' go, son--a beautiful 1983 Frank Sinatra Edition Imperial in perfect shape. They don't make 'em like this anymore!"...Originally posted by Ghrankenstein@Nov 13 2003, 02:36 PM
GTO,
I doubt you'd have much trouble talking him into getting you a mint-condition Chrysler Imperial. Heck, he might even have a spare one to give you,
