Where I work, we make an engine componet unique tot he BAS (not necessarily the BAS+) and the orders for the part have gone way up in the last couple of weeks and is projected to jump further. So GM is up to something.

Another question - is BAS '2' predicated on a Li ion battery - and BAS + on NiH ?

In some sense, the recently announced, well done, and highly desirable BAS system changes for 2009 MYR production would seem to qualify for the term BAS +.
