Front page of a local newspaper the other day featured a 1967 Firebird prominently.

It was a picture of the infamous snowstorm of March 4 1971.

The Firebird is sideways on the street (and many other cars in the background are slipping and sliding), and is wearing big fat snowtires on black steelies.

When was the last time any of y'all saw such a car with even a snowflake within a mile of it?

Yesterday...inside Cobo Hall in Detroit. There was TONS of snowflakes outside. :yup:

That Buick F-body makes me think Mercury Cougar for some reason.

That is nice. Is this the same car that John DeLorean displayed at the auto show against the wishes of GM execs? The car was removed from display, and, from what I heard, its whereabouts were unknown for years.

The 3.4L Twin Dual Cam designed to make close to 300 hp would have completely changed the W-body cars

The Ford project, MN-12? The MR car that was supposed to use the Taurus SHO motor before there was a Taurus SHO

It really is a shame the way Pontiac has been held back and still is today. GM should sell the brand and let them develop their own line. A mid-engined twin turbo Pontiac Banshee would be the best thing ever. Of course I think Pontiac and Cadillac should team up to create this and a Cien with a V12. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
