It shouldn't come as a surprise that Hennessey can make a vehicle with a small block make ridiculous power and go enormously quickly. But there's still something amusing about seeing a pickup move like this.

As the name would suggest, the Goliath 700 makes 700 hp thanks to a 2.9-liter supercharger. That, to put it mildly, is a significant boost over the standard 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque that the engine normally makes.

All in, the package costs $26,950 and also comes with high-flow ducting, a custom camshaft, hardened pushrods, and new engine management software to make it all tick properly.

If you're less interested in drag racing than you are in desert racing (and you have another 15 grand to spend, you can also get Hennessey's off-road package. It adds bumpers with LED lights, 20-inch wheels, a 6-inch lift kit, and 35-inch off-road tires from Toyo.
