If you're looking for a four-figure horsepower number for your Cadillac CTS-V, then great news. Hennessey Performance has modified the CTS-V's 6.2L supercharged V8. Because 640 hp isn't enough.

The modifications list is long. A high flow supercharger, fabricated intake, custom camshaft, ported heads, high flow intercooler, long-tube headers, special HPE1000 floor mats. The list of what's standard is probably shorter.

But it's a big result. 1,000 hp and 966 lb-ft of torque. What does that give you? the HPE1000 CTS-V can hit 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and run a 10.5-second quarter mile at 135 mph. Blisteringly fast.

Now watch and listen to this beast on the track and on the dyno. Better to be sitting down. With your headphones turned up.
