So I live just outside a small town on the road to the beach. This past March we were lucky enough to get a Super Walmart( big news for a small town, lol ) And it has been a real success as it has attracted a Sonic and a new Gas station with several buisnesses thinking about coming to that general area to benefit from the traffic with Walmart.
Before the gas station infront of Walmart opened up, gas prices were $4 a gallon plus or minus a cent or two. Since the station opened this week, their price was $3.83! This caused the pumps to be loaded up with three cars waiting per filler. The other stations couldn't stand this so they started to compete by dropping theirs
:bounce:
The lowest it got @ 9:30 last night was $3.73 at a Hess station. The only thing that sucks about the whole deal is that I did not see it coming so the day before, I filled up at a station out of town for $3.94( which was a good price at the time, I drove a little out of the way to get there
) I feel dumb, lol. But who would have thought that prices would drop 27 cents for the fourth?
