Very nice.
To add exclusivity for Viper owners, Dodge has announced a new Viper GTC model, which provides both high levels of personalization (á la Maybach) and a “personal concierge” service. Buyers can virtually follow the build process through the Viper Ambassador web service, and take a personal tour of the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit where their car is built.
The new program is only for customer orders, not dealer stock. No two customers can order the same configuration, including color, in the same model year. Dealers will start taking orders in February with production to start in the second quarter of 2015.
A Viper Customizer will be unveiled later; customers can download a hi-resolution image to create a poster and share their car via social media. For a preview of customizable options, visit www.driveSRT.com/2015/viper/1of1.
A Viper Concierge will provide an single point of contact from the point of ordering to delivery, providing “behind-the-scenes stories and pictures.”
t takes between 140 and 160 hours to hand paint each Viper, and owners will get regular updates, including pictures of the paint process and each phase of the assembly. Each new GTC owner also will get their own login for build status updates, a photo gallery, and a Q&A section between the owner and Viper Concierge.
Once the vehicle is built, new Viper owners can also decide how they want their vehicle shipped. Shipping options include rapid transport, or new owners can pick their Viper up at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit and take a tour of the facility.
