The black stickers on the C pillar would get ripped off.
I love the blacked out front Corvette emblem. I am glad to see they brought back red on the Calipers - looks really sharp on the black car. Plus the 6 piston brembos and the CF rotors look awesome in red and much better then the blue on the ZR1 or Grey in the Z06 Carbon edition.
Speaking of Carbon - that show car model is basically a Z06 carbon with some different paint options. I am digging the red thread on the interior - is the shifter, ebrake handle covered in alcantara as well?

I was thinking the same thing... I think the C4 Z07 was the last time a funky option was offered... the rest have been paint / decal schemes on standard corvettes...

You can get a full leather package that's 95% of what this is anyway. Sure it's nice, but again, it's mostly just some aesthetics.

In a nutshell, I really like it. I like the color combo, red stitching, Z07/CFZ option, and mag ride. You can pretty much get a ZR1 chassis with ZR1 looks.
However, I wouldn't buy it. Performance wise, it's great and we all know that it's a "performance bargain", but the interior looks way too dated and the tech isn't up to par. It's hard to justify that type of interior and tech when you can find 10K (or more in some cases) laying on the hood of a Vette. Thus, GM can't convince me that adding a couple more features, a little bit better materials, a unique steering wheel, etc. isn't possible. Sure, profit might be a little less, but GM will easily make that up when thousands of new customers that would never even consider a Vette, walk in the door to purchase one because it meets global standards.
Now, I'm not one of these people that bashes the interior just to bash it. In my opinion, Corvette interiors aren't as bad as some claim. I don't have a big problem with the overall materials used (although they should be better), but I do have a problem with the overall execution. For instance, the Cruze's interior look more modern and dare I say more expensive than the Vette. I'm sure the Cruze's materials aren't any better, but the fit and finish and overall design makes it look and feel much more expensive than it is.
I realize we won't see an updated design until the C7 comes out, so I stopped judging Vette interiors several years ago, but GM needs to get the Vette up to snuff on that end to get my dollar. I have no doubt the C7 will fix that.

I'm beginning to think the only thing people do on this forum is b!tch. Seriously, have some of you whiners ever driven a new Cruze? It drives better than you might think, and the power is rather deceptive. Mine is my DD, and honestly i don't miss the -300 horsepower when going from my vette to the Cruze.
It's not perfect and sure i wish it had more power, but it is surprisingly peppy. And if it did have 200 hp i guarantee most of you same people on here would be bitching & moaning about the gas mileage. LOL. And boring....please! My previous DD was a Cobalt, don't get me started on how much BETTER the CRUZE is over the Cobalt.

What did everyone expect? Was GM going to transplant the XTS Concept's interior into the Corvette, plus add a 900hp engine option?
No, this is exactly what should've been expected: A well optioned Corvette, which is already the performance bargain of the century, with some distinctive Centennial design cues...
They could've put a Centennial emblem on the console and on the rear deck and that would've been fine... The Corvette, performance wise, is that good and clearly lives up to the "founding of Chevrolet is based on motorsports" statement.
Performance models being offered by Chevrolet has always been sporadic at best. Sure, I'd love to have a Cruze SS model. But the Corvette and Camaro aren't too shabby. Other than at the height of the classic muscle car years of 1964-1972, Chevrolet has rarely offered high performance models other than Corvette and Camaro... And sometimes, even they weren't exactly "high performance."

No I watched it. My point is they do a couple of things but they never complete the deal. I know all of the cars come with the Mag ride. But's only the base mag ride. Not the 5 setting version from the zr1. The only real thing different is the stickers. Everything else can be optioned already.
How about a custom color on the exterior and interior?

I didn't think so...............That is the whole point of the "special" edition. You get all of these features with a SINGLE option code. Plus the stickers
