Dashcam Footage Captures Valet's Joy Ride

Right This Minute

Dashcam video from a brand new 2015 C7 Corvette Stingray was recorded in valet mode. The camera started recording and captured everything that the valet did as he was in the car. It turns out that the valet had a need for speed. The driver has reportedly been fired.

Can't figure out how to get the video to show so you have to check the link to watch it. Valet makes a 0-50ish blast in a parking garage before parking the Corvette.

I thought that GM had to make changes to the system for this very reason, people being recorded when they didn't know they were being recorded.

In some states it's illegal, in some it's not. Either way, many were sold before that tidbit was brought up and they are in the midst of changing it.
