I have an 2006 Malibu Maxx SS and want to go from 225/50/18 to 235/50/18, more of options in tires and better prices but dont know if they will still fit up front with out buying them and trying them out. Has any one put bigger tires on their car.

lol, sad really I dont even know the tire size on mine, MY Girlfried has taken it over since she sold her Honda.....damn women, but It has the Potenzas, With my factory it rubs on my mudflaps when cornering just a bit, (need mudflaps in the north here) so a bigger tire would most likely run on the inside..
OR go a 235 45 18, the wider may offset the height diff, but then it may rub on the inside for sure
Someone in town must have that tire size. you could try one on and see.
