Funny, now we know where the lower bumper from the original Aura concept car went.

Anyway the G6 insn't bad it just needs just a few more tweaks: new tail lights, updated center stack, and PLEASE move that freaking antenna to the REAR of the roof! Those, along with the upcoming powertrain changes, would go along way to keep the G6 fresh enough till it's replaced.

Still pretty pathetic.. but those little changes to the front make it look just a tad better.

I'm disappointed/surprised that they didn't go with the black tie radio at least.

Actually, I prefer the new lower air intakes on this one to at least the current base model's.

But man, is this poor car going to be outclassed in 2010 - this isn't even a 2009 model!

Well, the new nose, does minimize those gargantuan headlights a bit. Thats always been my problem with the G6, is the ugly headlights, they angle up, and come back too far down the fender.

This helps alot.

I never liked the lower fascia, the long horizontal grill running along the bottom. Regardless that was the design. The design the G8 front fascia to pick up some of the cues of the G6, such as the lower fascia grill. And then a year after the G8 comes to market, they change it. Losing the family theme. How can GM be so inconsistent?!

Decent looking update for what it is, but so minimal that you'd have to look twice to notice. I'm disappointed they didn't go further with it.

Though I hope that if this IS such a minimal update that a complete redesign isn't far offf.

Me too. I DO NOT understand what they are doing here. How hard is it to just take out he old radio and put the new one in? Not to mention the fact that the G6 may be the only domestic GM vehicle to still have the older head unit. At this point, doesn't it cost them more to put this in there in small quanitities than putting the new black-tie radio?
