I have a 2002 Trailblazer that has on-going air conditioner problems. This is the third failure. It would produce hot air when you have selected a cool temp (72 degrees). Dealership states that this is a reoccuring problem with Trailblazers - sometimes it is a low pressure switch. BUT - now I have the driver side working with cool air and the passenger side has exteremely HOT air (I check all my settings and still the same problem).
I do not know why CHEVY has not figure out the true problem with their air conditioner and produce a good low pressure switch that would last more that a year.
When you are out of warranty, it gets expensive. :zippy:
