What the theives would say...

Honda Civic - "I just stole this car and am going to make a fortune selling it to some kid."

Acura Integra - "I just stole this car and am going to make a fortune selling the engine to some kid with a Civic."

Haha, too much! :lmao:

Who is stealing the 2004 Dodge Ram and what in the hell were they thinking?
Someone who steals gas by drilling SUV tanks?
Someone who sell them to the Mexican army?

used to be the 1989 Toyota Camry as the number 1. For several years!
The 2nd G Camry was one of the most excellent small cars available in US-America IMHO.
They could get 40+ MPG, had 120 HP which was perfectly adequate for the day and their mission, comfortable, good handling, good brakes.
A car way ahead of its time. :yup:

I like 'em to. Great fuel economy, basically trouble-free and they were nippy. Not fast, but the way they would go when you ran them through the gears and round the corners would put a smile on yer face. The only problem was they rusted almost as bad as Fiats and the engines would burn oil around the 200 000 km mark.

The Acuras always had extra things to break, extra weight, but the Integra was a nippy car like the Civic, except faster. I don't know WTF Acura did killing the Integra, it was like "hmm, 75% of our sales are the Integra, 25% are the Legend. Why don't we kill off both of these models. Great idea!"

Considering I still see beater ones running around here, they were good for sure. Still see the occasional contemporary Mazda 626 too. The Stanzas and the Accords of that vintage are long gone.

But yeah if I was in that market, no way would I have ever bought one of those blandmobiles... I'd have gotten a Mazda 626 GT with the hatchback and turbo :drive::p:

My dad actually has a pair of '92 civic sedans and they're not rusty. he talks about how great and reliable they are but one needed a motor AND trans, AND it was randomly stalling/not starting and pissing off him and everyone else until i figured out it was a bad fuel pump relay. I've told him he should have not got involved with them and just bought a new Cobalt XFE instead

Your right. Why would they steal a truck anyway? A car will go further per fill up then a truck will and the Dodge gets worse mileage then the others usually. Somethings just will never add up to me...

Yeah but the total purchase price of TWO 1992 Civics is approximately the same as a month or two of Cobalt XFE lease :D
hell naw, the resale value of those little civics is unreal, PLUS he had to put a motor AND trans in the one. The air con still isn't going in either and while my dad is happy that his suspension is tight i still hear bad sounding noises when traveling over bumps

The owners probably don't mind. I bet they purposely park in bad areas with the doors unlocked. "Yes, my gas guzzler is gone!" ;)

You've got an 89 Reatta you know A/C is a 10 year thing and that is IT :p:

But my father's 98 GTP has icy aircon and it is rarely used and never refilled....

and the only A/C functional car I've ever had in my life was my 1983 BMW

reminds me of what someone said about the lady with the Camaro SS that she's put 1.1 million miles on..."those big old Frigidaire compressors were awesome...they'd throw ice cubes atcha"

Oh yeah the Delco A-6, oh boy now THAT was an A/C compressor. Sure it was the size of a Mazda RX-7's entire engine and weighed more and it sucked like 50 hp off the crank to make those ice cubes, but it still did and they went forever :D

I have not checked this annual list in a few years, but when did the 1986 Olds Cutlass finally drop off the list?
