I was just a good feeling, to order the first for the store, apparently we are only getting 6 to start, then 18 to stock for the year..

Anyhow order load 2SS with the RS package, black on black, sunroof. and painted wheels, should look baller. Im like the blacked out look.

Funny thing is we dont have pricing yet, and he looks at me like whatever, who do i give my deposit to. Then shows me pics of his 69 Firebird hes rebuilding, black on black...

some people have to much money me thinks...

No he actually had a build from the US website with the tag of $34,180 on it, some people are guessing here as high as 60 Grand, but god I hope GM dont screw us over like that again...

I took my stores first order today. One loaded 2SS with the RS and sunroof in the silver. Sticker is going to be around $37000. The guy put up $20K for his deposit. I cant wait to get it in and deliver it to him he only lives an hour away?

got pricing the other day, loaded 2SS is coming in around the 37 mark and a SS/RS is around the 40 mark, my order should come in around 43-45, with freight and the options he ordered....

woot got 5 of our first 8 sold already.

We were told we were only getting five for 2009. We took those five orders and sold them all at $5000 over sticker.

That, and--especially SO not now--you don't want to pump out a seemingly limitless supply, even if you had the capacity, and have a 1-2 month rush and then...bup...extra stock sitting on all the lots. You have to limit things, and I hope they really, really limit things, to keep prices up (buyers don't like it, but it's good for everyone else involved) and desire for the cars up.

I also ordered one on the same day. A black 2SS with the Inferno Orange Interior, sunroof, throw shifter, and the body kit.

We estimated the price. I guaranteed him we would charge MSRP and no more, no less.

At first 140,000 units were expected to be built, it is down to 80,000 units now per year, I believe.
Very low in production, compared to the Monte Carlo..

Scheduled to start production in Feb\09..
A few pilots have been run down the new Flex line already..
