The GMC Sierra All Mountain concept is a one of a kind Sierra 2500HD that can go just about anywhere in the snow.

Debuting at Vail Mountain this week, it's part of GMC's new partnership with Vail Resorts, who will be displaying the All Mountain this winter.

GMC has taken a Sierra 2500HD four-wheel drive Crew Cab and added Mattracks tracks. The extra traction and reduced ground pressure will let the Sierra conquer deep mountain powder. Spinning the tracks is a 6.6L Duramax V8 turbodiesel that makes 445 hp and 910 lb-ft of torque.

It's not enough to keep traction on the mountain, GMC wants to keep it cozy inside too. That's why they chose a Denali trim to send up the hill. But with this much grip, you might not want to ever get out of the heated seats to head back down on your skis.

Slope duty is helped by Thule snowboard racks, a Rigid 30-inch light bar, and an Advantage soft tonneau cover.

GMC will be showing a similar truck, based on the All Terrain X platform, at the LA auto show next month.
