For those of you who don't remember, the Tricolor sank a year or so back with over 3,000 Volvos, Saabs, and BMWs - but mostly Volvos. About half a year ago, they salvaged most of the ship by cutting it into pieces then lifting it up. Here are some pictures...

The companies have insurance and also get a tax write off. Still what a waste!

The ship was insured and BMW, Volvo, and SAAB were reimbursed. BTW, Volvo had the most cars onboard. The ship sank right after the XC90 was released worldwide causing production to slow down meaning that those who preordered on the in states had to wait a couple more weeks.
