ok its not funny really when a small vehicle gets in your blind spot while driving your new Silverado with the "puddle spot" mirror fail.
Okay its back to the testers did they drive this on the highway in varied traffic conditions ? are they trying for it to see behind a trailer or what because were it is located makes it hard to see anything small in your blind spot.
It should be at the lower section of the mirror and slightly inboard from were it is now.
I would really like a GM customer service rep on the board here to explain its actual intended purpose, is it to see way back on a trailer or is it intended to see your blind spot ? if its the latter you missed it big time and this has potential safety risk's and elements to it that should be of concern to GM. would hate to know a motorcyclist was taken out because a driver didn't see him while relying on a safety feature that wasn't tested correctly and didn't perform as intended.
