That's good news - but where's the publicity as I never knew that Opel/Vauxhall had any competition models!
Try it - it's exilarating, even as a co-driver.The most insane, crazy drivers on the planet!! And the navigator sitting there with no control word be terrifying!
Exactly. The most insane, crazy drivers on the planet!! And the navigator sitting there with no control word be terrifying!
I love the 2nd picture - a couple of Manta 400 (I assume) and a Bedford van!In Germany you can order your Astra or Corsa in traditional Opel Motorsport look.

So it is http://www.motorsportretro.com/2014/11/opel-mantra-400/ styling the same as the Bedford Van.Manta 400 and a Chevrolet full-size van.
The Bedford brand hasn't been used for 23 years and was only relevant to the UK - since GMC has no European presence it would make more sense to use that brand, it would have the advantage of being global.I had no idea bedford was a GM company. It would be the perfect brand to export GMC to Europe, provided GM is ready to engineer right hand drive for UK
Bedford is a brand that sold out through out the British former Empire. The Bedford brand hasn't been used for 23 years and was only relevant to the UK - since GMC has no European presence it would make more sense to use that brand, it would have the advantage of being global.
Can we take the term "engineer" out of GM's inability to do RHD outside of Opel/Vauxhall and Holden - I feel sure that the engineers in Detroit are perfectly capable of designing/building RHD but their management continuously chooses to ignore it.
