Hey Bob, the "Heritage" section of the GTO website says the phrase was copied from the [bad] TV show Laugh In. Guess if they had trademarked it, they must have let it lapse. Copyright? Derivative work? Better not go there either. Just be happy you have a GTO to sell.

Where was GM when they had a chance to oppose the registration?
Looks to me like they could spend a lot more arguing about the mark than they have to gain.

Great link. Just goes to show that maybe "the Judge" isn't worth fighting over. On the other hand, I think they could use a bit of the "Humbler" clip for new ads. It's not your father's GTO...it's evolved...
