U.S. Development Group opens ethanol terminal in Arlington
U.S. Development Group LLC, a Houston-based ethanol logistics company, officially opened an ethanol terminal in the Dallas area on Thursday that will distribute a large percentage of fuel-grade ethanol in north and central Texas.
The Dallas Fort Worth Rail Terminal LLC ethanol handling and distribution terminal is located on a 15-acre site in Arlington and is a wholly owned subsidiary of USDG.
The terminal, served by the Union Pacific Railroad, includes an offloading facility and 130,000 barrels of storage and will pump ethanol directly to gasoline blend terminals via pipeline, cutting down on the time and cost associated with secondary trucking.
