I actually think this is a good thing. That we have no universal family car anymore shows just what innovation has done for us. We can no longer make one car, spread it across 3 or more platforms and get away with it. We have to make cars that look good, ride and handle good, and actually have the amenities you want. SUVs have taken over of course, but I can't wait to see what the next big thing is...seems like we went from coupes, to sedans, to wagons, (to hatchbacks :blink: ) to SUVs, and I am wondering what is next. And you can bet it has to be good.
