Yeah, but the Woodward Dream Cruise, and even the old Woodward/Gratiot cruises and races, are not like the current trend of back-road all-out races.

I was young once, too. I understand the lure of adding HP to a car, increasing speed, etc. It's a rush.

I doubt that street racing will go away, especially with the popularity of the tuner-type vehicles and movies that glamourize the tuner races.
