I purchased a 2021 GMC 2500 4WD crew cab, SLT on 12/18/2020 (62K), fine truck, very proud, until brakes started squealing, I was in Virginia, few thousand miles, stopped at dealership, he said they all do it, it will wear in. OK, I believed him. Until Squeal was terrible, visited dealer multiple times, but truck would not squeal when there, I had video of squeal but was not good enough, Visiting several GM Forums, I found a service bulletin 20-NA-020, dealer didn't fine it, I did. But truck was out of break warranty, 12,540. I would have to pay for new pads, $788.49. Dealer ordered parts, install pads, and I paid bill. GM did reach out to me, and issued a case #9-6738545774. Talking with nice lady from GM, she said parts should be under warranty, talked to dealer and was issued a refund check, (thank you). But there was an accident at the dealership, they were honest and said something, hose, cable? something was pulled over the drivers fender, and 1/2 of hood, and it resulted in scratches, they tried to buff out, but would not, they ask if I would bring back for a "wet sand", I did, but they were NOT able to remove scratches, and trucks looks worst now than before, no shine to finish, very noticeable, they said they would repaint, but " our paint is not as good as factory, can't bake at high temp". I decided not to repaint at that dealership, I have no confidence with them. because squeal has returned many times worst. noticed noise at 17,411 mi. I have multiple video of squeal, people look at me when stopping, also, when squeal happens the braking is weak, slid into road from drive the other morning, very scary. So I have an expensive truck, squealing brakes, scratches on my hood, dull paint from "wet sand". Anyone out there have problems like I just explained, any suggestions will be great, Mike

I tow very little, noise is when you ( I call it ) feather the brakes, like slow creeping up to drive in window, or slow stops for signs, traffic, ect. not at high speed. also noticed when backing up at low speeds, thats the loudest.

A little WD-40 ought to chill out those squeaks.
