All I can say is WOW---I really hope this is not a start of a new trend. The grill is ridiculas and the rear that emulates the grill is just plain tacky. Is the TL based off the Accord platform becuase it looks alot like an Accord with an Acura grill?

I take it that this is Acura's attempt at being "Cadillac bold". The attempt is a complete embarrassment, and shows that GM has the best stylists in the world.

I very much like the profile and rear, and while I find the front interesting and fresh (nice to see something other than a normal grille being tried) I am not sure I like it. I LOVE the grille on their current SUV which is similar, so I think I may like this more in person.

That front end is a disaster. As a former Acura owner (2004 Acura MDX), I won't be back any time soon with terrible front ends like that.

Acura needs to fire their designers. The 2nd gen TL was the sexiest. The 3rd gen was ok, but it grew on me. This 4th gen is hideous. The "corporate" grill is fugly, and the rear-end looks like a civic coupe.

I was a big fan of the last acura design as it rolled out ...and then as the years past the designers went off on weird tangents but mildly so...

This new design at least in the photos is horrific...Maybe its better in person?

I won't be buying one but a lot of people seem to drive the TL's around...

I wonder how badly this design will do in the marketplace and how fast that front end will get a new grill?

Some morons will buy any ugly POS. If this crapwagon is going to be a sellout, then tell me why the Edsel was such a flop. The only cars with uglier schnozes in recent memory were the last WRX and Tribeca, which both got rhinoplast within a model year.

Hm.. acura grill looks so weird. I like Hondas better. so i guess i am going back to basic aka Honda not Acura. Maybe ppl who got money have weird taste. Thank god i am not one of them I prefer the I thought I could get used to those grills but after I saw the TL omg hell no.. the TSX was bad enough but i still accept it but now this?? Acura really trying too hard to look ugly.

I hate the look, hopefully it will be better in person. Everything looks so over exaggerated. I don't need to be hit over the head with design elements. It's distracting. Don't know which is worse the front or the rear. OMG.

It looks like a Cadillac from the front. Trying too hard with the chrome.

It looks almost... American. (Gasp)

OMFG! This thing needs hydrolics, and all chrome gull wing doors....then it'll look like one of robotic dogs!

The grill gets bigger with every photo. Appropriately, it gets worse. The rest of the car looks great. It is taut and modern. But the grill, that damn malformed silver chevron, is just wretched.
