That Taurus is a bit plain, but it's attractive and, perhaps of great importance, strongly reflects Ford's new global styling theme.
Plain?

Compared to the current one it looks like a '59 Cadillac. There's actually some character lines at least while the current one seems devoid of any 'styling' at all.

If that is the new Taurus - Ford has the potential of making a huge dent in Impala sales! Also - the Flex has really grown on me. After seeing real world pictures of the Flex in my latest Automobile Magazine - I really like what I see. The Flex could really take a bite out of Lambda sales. Ford could really be set up to take a lead in large CUV sales if the gas mileage is better than the Lambda DI V6 models.

My personal opinion is that the Flex looks better than both the Outlook and Traverse - which would be its primary competition. This Taurus will undoubtedly be a looker on the inside as well.

And why is Ford copying Subaru?? Especially when they have the hot Ford products in Europe??? I don't get it. These are boring..

Wow, I think its time for GM to go and get an "Alan Mulally" for themselves ;)
Seriously the Taurus is much more legant looking than today's model. Got to give Ford their due. nice work.
