With the Chevy version spotted yesterday it was only a matter of time before the GMC version would make an appearance. Just like its Chevy sibling this sierra is also packing a new duramax diesel more at the link

GMC is going nowhere, it has the most loyal(repeat buyers) following of any truck, a sure sell.
agreed my dad is a GMC loyalist and he has stated in the past that if his 93 Sierra ever stopped working then he would look at a current gen sierra. But that probably won't be for awhile since its so far manged to stay in running order despite a faulty fuel pump, a dumb car thief, and other problems over the years that it has been in our familys driveway.

I hope they added a bigger cup holder that it can hold the latest Big Gulps from 7-11.
the latest Big Gulp at 7-11 is the one you take when you see today's gas price and *gulp*.

So I guess the concensus is that the 2500's will look similar to the 1500's up front. Looks good, just as the 1500 versions do. Can't wait for the new diesel coming along with it. Now if only we could convince GM that a truck doesn't have to look like a ugly dog during mating season....

And getting about 10MPG. Ha, I love the power don't get me wrong, but we are starting to lose the mileage advantage of a diesel with all this power. The emissions junk doesn't help either.

I can't believe I just chose mileage over power.....what is wrong me??!!!

The three bars make a big difference to me--much better looking. Now if they adopted the old truck's two air intakes in the bumper, and got some decent side mirrors that were more squared off, the truck would look pretty good.

matter of opinion.
Very true. This Sierra seems to suffer from the same problem that the Yukon does.

The front looks like a silly smiley face. That small opening in the chrome bumper looks like a small mouth, the 'GMC' in the vacant grille is the nose and the headlights just look like they have a 'twinkle in their eye'.

The Silverado and Tahoe are lightyears more attractive than their GMC siblings (imo of course).

I am going to miss GMC. The Sierra is the much better looking truck. :(
Hey ChevyRules, in that picture with the Audi and the Porsche, is the Audi the one with the AWD? because you have RWD being better then AWD written afterwards... Just wondering.

I do like this HD better then the Chev, but the 1500 Chev looks WAY better, especially with the color-matched grille.
