Speculation On the Next Z06

I havn't heard much lately on what people think the next Z06 will be like. I believe that It will have a 427 with at least 500hp and will out handle a viper. I also believe that the car will have some visual changes from the base model as well. I'd like to know what the members of this site think.

I dont think its going to have a 427ci Engine (but I wish it would!) B) Last I herd its engine was going to be at 6.2 or 6.3L witch would be 385 or so cubic inches. It will use 3VPC and have its power come in at a high RPM witch conserns me. :( Unless it really turns quickly up to that high RPM (meaning it will be geared lower to do so effecting fuel economy) it will not beat the Viper. I wish they would use more CI's to get the power at a lower RPM allong with MORE TORQUE!! But I will (as we all will) just have to wate and see what GM does. :D
I've heard of both 6.4L and 7.0L displacements for the LS7 in 2006, so I'd say that there's still a possiblity of 427 cu.in., but it may be in the 390 cu.in. range.
Even with the 3VPC HEADS I say the more CUBES THE BETTER!!! :D
No, it will be a 427 engine with 500hp. The Z06 will also have some CF or Carbon Fiber body parts. No news if its going to be 3v heads or use the VVT technology. Its going to be prices in the low 60's, just above a loaded convertable. It will also use a dry sump oil system. And the car will be a FRC. It will probably weigh around the 3k mark. maybe lower, maybe a bit higher.

Do you people understand that high RPM engines tend to rev up faster?

Or that sports cars do indeed tend to rev?

Christ almighty... are you wankers afraid to drive or something?
