Which vehicle have you owned the shortest amount of time?

And...which vehicle have you owned the longest?

Shortest amount of time for me:
1997 Corsica/malibu ... just a bit over 2 years (1997-1999)

Longest amount of time for me:
1979 Monte Carlo Landau ... owned since 1992

Shortest:
Had to be the poor, poor Mark VII.......

It's still sitting around, awaiting it's trip to that great 'garage in the sky'......but for all intensive purposes I drove it for about a month.....

Longest:
The Shaggin Wagon ('94 Plymouth Voyager--actually deserving of the nickname ;))

Have been driving it steady for 7yrs, since I turned 16. That will soon change though in a little bit once I score a new ride.

Shortest: 1984 Buick Skylark V6........4 days

A dude was selling it for $50 because it had a rod knock. I talked him down to $25 because it needed wipers. (seriously!) I was going to use it as a "cheap" commuter car, but the rod knock was pretty bad. 4 days later I put a $100 sign on the window and sold it that night. $70 profit (after wiper replacement) :D

Longest: 1993 Toyota Camry I4.......6 years and counting!

I bought this car because I needed wheels that day (just got back from oversees). Paid $4,900 in 2002 and it had 120k miles. It hasn't been perfect, but it's been good considering the thrashing I give it regularly.
- Distributor @ 170k miles -- $150
- Struts/front rotors & pads @ 150k miles -- $400
- Driver's window regulator @ 130k miles -- $60

Shortest: 1984 BMW 316 (SEP 98 -AUG 99) Bought this beater used and it failed to pass German inspection standards without some major work. We moved onto a Mercedes beater from there.

Longest: 1990 Mitsubishi Mirage: (JUN 91 - AUG 98) Bought this former rental in Killeen, TX and kept it for over seven years until I gave it to my brother before being stationed in Germany. It was a useful hatchback that served me well for a long time. Too plain of a vehicle for me to consider owning again now. It had manual windows and no cruise control.

Longest:

1989 GMC Safari SLT, 293,000 miles when sold in 2003, over 300,000 today and still truckin'!

Shortest:

Not too sure...but I think it was the Chevette. 1985 to 1990-something. It was still working when I was born since I remember riding in it a lot...but I remember that the engine blew out and it just sat in our driveway for a few years.
