Saturn ads

Has anyone seen the new batch of Saturn ads that have popped up on TV?

They are some of the best ads that I have seen in my opinion.

One ad has a series of Saturn ION's being hit and bumped into by different objects to a musical beat, kind of like "Stomp" but with Saturns.

But the best one I have seen so far is the Saturn VUE "Pac-Man", this ad is an instant classic, anyone who grew up in the 80's will laugh their asses of. I has an arial shot of a VUE pulling out of a driveway in a large suburban "subdevelopment" maze, the VUE looks like it's floating in the air and rotating at the same time and then the "Pac-Man" into music starts and the VUE takes off through the maze gobbling up these little white floating balls in the middle of the street., just like Pac Man....it was hillarious...theres more to the commercial...but you have to see it for yourself...really..it's one of the best ads I have seen in recent memory.

Heres to Saturn being able to bring us more cool ads and increase the visibiliy and recognition of their product line.

there are lotsa ads for the ion and vue, but they seem to make a point of ignoring the L-series.and with good reason! i think they wanna differentiate between their new stable (ion and vue and relay) and the old guard (L-series)... so if anything they want less visibility there! wonder when the L-series replacement will be ready.

also, i too saw the ion getting smacked around... but that's one selling point ehy'll lose as they switch to steel bodied vehicles (like the relay). perhaps the poor panel fit outpowers the dent resistance... but the commercial convinces me as to the advantages of a tupperware car!

Absolutely. This obsession with body panel gaps is ridiculous if it means Saturn must give up it's plastic panels. I'd much rather have a car with large gaps on day one but not dents and dings at year 5 than the other way around.

And as I understand it, if the plastic panels do get damaged, they are cheaper to replace than steel.
