A few weeks ago I ran across this old Mercedes Benz. Does anyone know what model and year it might be?

Most of the trim had been removed for what looks to be the beginning of a restoration.

There was also a Unimog 1300

It's a Herflinger , built by a tribe near Thailand five years ago , it was a class project , when it didn't float in the warm waters nearby , the project was disbanded , and the team publicly flogged . You can take this to the bank , tell them Joe sent you !!

I almost bought one of these a couple years ago. The example I found was still running but had more rust than I wanted to deal with.

I'm fond of the shape.
