Rivians CEO and founder is about to be Tested, we know what Musk did to save Tesla. Does he have what it takes or is he going to cash out?
I'm guessing cashing out eventually, The lightning baring some glaring troubles at launch or something, is the winner in the truck EV segment imo. They actually made an EV truck unlike all these other makes who felt the need to radically redesign and alter a proven winning formula!Rivians CEO and founder is about to be Tested, we know what Musk did to save Tesla. "All these other makes" is just Tesla. If they ever do build Cybertrucks.I'm guessing cashing out eventually, The lightning baring some glaring troubles at launch or something, is the winner in the truck EV segment imo. You think the electric SIlverado is a "radically redesigned and altered" truck, vis-a-vis the F150 Lightning?I'm guessing cashing out eventually, The lightning baring some glaring troubles at launch or something, is the winner in the truck EV segment imo. Rivian is more an SUV with a bed. I have no idea how their service infrastructure looks like.I'm guessing cashing out eventually, The lightning baring some glaring troubles at launch or something, is the winner in the truck EV segment imo. They are available as accessories that can be attached to the inside of the beds in many different configurations, without cutting into the outside metal....and where are those Avalanche style side-saddle storage bins? Puzzling that Chevrolet didn't continue those with other products.
Remember, the Silverado line up has everything from a 2.7 to diesel, V8 and electric, there is something for everyone.Chevy has repositioned the Silverado as an 'adventure-lifestyle' truck, IMO; the single 5'11" bed length / single cab configuration is going to cut a lot of buyers out... unless other configurations are coming.
Hahahahaha, I remember this scene so clearly, the next scene is the Bunny Wabbit slapping the Ox and shouting “Stop steaming my tail!” “what do you want to do? Wrinkle it?”
That's not a reposition. All trucks are 'adventure-lifestyle'. But it would be nice to see further configurations (for those who have different adventures) and there probably will be.Chevy has repositioned the Silverado as an 'adventure-lifestyle' truck, IMO; the single 5'11" bed length / single cab configuration is going to cut a lot of buyers out... unless other configurations are coming.
Having to pull off to "refuel" a truck is a nightmare? I think your nightmare threshold could be a little low. Maybe you shouldn't leave the house.Remember, the Silverado line up has everything from a 2.7 to diesel, V8 and electric, there is something for everyone.
Based on TFL, electrics are just not work trucks. Towing and loads pretty much half your range. Basically, 400 miles goes to 200 miles when you tow. That is not a work truck. Going to say Yosemite from Los Angeles would turn into a nightmare should you run out of juice right past Fresno, which you would..
You have a lot of patience with Charge stations Obi CaptainDanHaving to pull off to "refuel" a truck is a nightmare? I think your nightmare threshold could be a little low. Maybe you shouldn't leave the house.
And realistically, a lot of work usages for a truck does not involve driving long distances. You buy one suited for what you need. If you need go over 200 miles, and your 400 mile range doesn't get you that far while towing a battleship, maybe you need to get a longer range. Or just "refuel" as needed.
