The Joke looks much worse than the Aztek, IMHO.

whats going on with nissan? the leaf is ugly enough and now this? are they trying to out do bmw?

Ok... those are the turning signals on the top sides by the hood? The rear end reminds me of the new Volvo 2 door wagon, with the tail lights a modern rendition of those on the '58 Edsel station wagon. So... I take it Nissan hired the unemployed designers from the Pontiac Aztek? Well... someone will buy it... after all... they also sell the Cube.

Epic fail.

I've showed pictures of this thing to a few of my college friends and the collective response has been, "That looks disgusting."

If Nissan's trying to be trendy...they just failed.

Yes. They're the turn signals and parking lights. Below them are the headlights (yes, the big things that look like foglights are really headlights), and the foglights are hidden down below.

It's not ugly. It's just weird.

[Let’s not ignore the elephant in the room. The Nissan Juke is ugly. On one hand, Nissan should be commended for going out on a limb and not producing yet another two-box crossover. On the other hand, it’s difficult to find a good angle from which to view the Juke at.
Thank you.

But this will have absolutely no bearing on it's success in the market which will likely be great. I've said it before, but the appetite Americans have for ugly foreign vehicles knows almost no limits. Somehow, they do not like ugly domestics.

I've heard that once before... late 1974 when AMC introduced the Fishbowl on wheels.... the Pacer!~ I had a friend who passed a few years ago who worked at an AMC dealership. The joke was... Why is there large windows on the Pacer? So everyone can see the ***hole who bought one.

She must be in heaven right now laughing at this Nissan Puke, Joke... err...Juke!

While it does look masculine and assertive, the design is a bizarre pastiche of different shapes and surfaces which are visually jarring.

Trucks and muscle cars look masculine and assertive. This thing is a hatchback that has few inches higher seating position.

This is like a bad game of telephone. It's a hatchback that looks halfway like a "crossover suv" that looks halfway like an suv that looks something like a truck.

Nissan, please build this! that way the aztec will no longer be a punch line

I would like to see GM match this in the Granite, with the 1.4/2.0T, MT/6AT and their own torque vectoring AWD if they have one. The Granite's looks would bring ppl in, but a well sorted powertrain would have ppl driving off with one. Defintely would steal some Subaru sales.

Lets face the facts here guys. The only people that going to purchase this vehicle are old folks, baby boomers and mentality screw up individuals. Scions Xb, Xa, Nissan Cube, and the Kia Soul are all driving by old folks. No way a generation X/Y individual is going to buy this car. It draws too much negative attention.
